Develop workforce for the future

  • Conduct training need analysis for professional staff & management on quarterly and annually basis aligned with the Company's career
  • Build, maintain and deliver training programmes that creates holistic learning experience for targeted groups (operators, professional, people managers, senior managers)
  • Partner with the business to implement early career development programmes for technical operators/workers and professional through collaboration with education / vocational institutes and universities e.g. apprenticeship and graduate programmes targeted at critical skill-sets/functions
  • Partner with the business to develop & integrate skill matrix for technical operators across the production lines with clear documentation on standard operating procedure, skill level requirements and promotion criteria
  • Develop 'internal trainer' pool to support on-going training for new and existing technical operators both on the job and in the training centres
  • Resource external training partners, professional accreditation and certification bodies as part of extended support network in delivering development programmes
  • Enhance learning effectiveness through flexible learning options/benefits/initiatives
  • Partner with senior leaders to identify critical roles and put in place succession plans with focus on internal talent development
  • Oversee the skill accreditation for technical operators including the skill test administration, set-up of independent assessor and trainer,
  • ensure alignment with skill matrix and other assessment criteria
  • Regularly assess 'skill gaps' to prioritise skill training & accreditation
  • Sustainable leadership & culture
  • Partner with the HRBP and senior management in identifying high potential pool, creating individual development plans, actively
  • managing their learning experience through internal coaching & development opportunities and external training;
  • Develop assessment tool based on behavioural competency frameworks for internal and external succession

  • Degree holder with 10 years of work experience, preferably most recent role in manufacturing sector
  • Proven track record in successfully developing and implementing development programmes for technical operators and professional
  • Ability to work in fast-changing environments and build solutions that have the ability to flex with the business needs & priorities
  • Ability to conduct training directly and train others to facilitate
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and project management
  • Excellent oral and written communication with English fluency is a must
